Raw Material Logistics
SKS understands the importance of their customer’s lines running smoothly. In the fluctuating market of steel, it is imperative that SKS secures enough Raw Materials for their customers for a continuous and smooth supply of finished products. SKS maintains a monthly stock of different Raw Materials which exceeds its monthly manufacturing requirement.
Wire Processing
To achieve the required mechanical properties, SKS has an in-house facility of 3 Wire-Drawing Machines.
Cold Forging & Thread Rolling
SKS manufactures over 3000 different Fasteners using state of art Cold Forging and Thread Rolling Machinery which has an annual production capacity of 30,000MT. Its wide range of high-tensile fasteners includes Bolts, Screws, Studs, and Special Fasteners as per print. Special Fasteners are our forte and contribute to 70% of SKS’s total production.
Heat Treatment
We at SKS understand that achieving the specified metallurgical properties of a fastener is the heart of the manufacturing process. The Heat Treatment division is equipped with 6 state-of-the-art, fully automatic, Continuous Mesh Belt Hardening & Tempering programmable lines with controlled atmosphere for the complete heat treatment cycle. The furnace atmosphere is maintained by utilizing six Endothermic Gas Generators having online FCS (furnace control system) unit to control the over line CP values. An alternative Methanol + LPG auto feeding provision are also available. These furnaces are designed and periodically calibrated as per AMS2750D specifications and CQI guidelines which are dedicatedly followed.
